IN MOM'S MEMORY, to those of you who sponsored me for the Investor's Group Memory Walk...I walked 5kms on 18 June 2011 in the pouring rain, and cold weather. We were soaked and covered in mud. A Visit to Mom

Hey everyone, today is my first BLOG, so I hope you'll be patient while I mess this up LOL :)
Yesterday, mom was somewhat confused but every now and then, she made perfect sense.  Otherwise, not much has changed one way or another.  She was up walking around, smiling, dragging me everywhere and just trying to get better.  It's been three weeks since they made the diagnosis to get things on the go with her thyroid.  The doctor said three to four months before we see any major improvement.  That's a long time for anyone to wait...we can only hope for the best...sure hope she improves.

    It all takes time. Even though we wish for fast improvements, a body doesn't work that way! She'll do fine...just wait. She's a stubborn old coot!!! LOL
